Grammy Award winner k.d.lang will return to Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox with her new band, The Siss Boom Bang on Monday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Tickets are $69 and $49. A limited number of $25 tickets are available in the balcony.

Soiree on the Edge at Arbor Crest

Eckart Preu will conduct a Chamber Orchestra version of the Spokane Symphony at the beautiful grounds of Arbor Crest on Friday, Aug. 12 at 6:00 p.m. Arbor Crest will have a selection of wines available for purchase; you may bring a picnic or purchase food prepared by Catered for You. Tickets are $20. This event is for ages 21 and older. This event is sponsored by Mercer.

Spokane Symphony at the Festival at Sandpoint

The Spokane Symphony, conducted by Maestro Gary Sheldon, will play a Spanish-themed program for the Festival at Sandpoint Grand Finale Concert entitled Spanish Serenade on Sunday, August 14 at 7:30 p.m. They will be joined by guest artists classical guitarist Mak Grgic and soprano Hailey Fuqua.  The concert will be preceded by a wine tasting event (complimentary for concert goers over age 21) at 4:30 p.m. and will conclude with a fireworks finale.   Tickets are $34.95 for adults and $9.95 for youth 0 - 18 years.

Say Wow! Community Celebration Concert

Music Director Eckart Preu and the Spokane Symphony will be performing a program of light classics in celebration of the best of Spokane at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. The organizations to be honored include: Bloomsday, First Night, Hoopfest, Lilac Festival, Musicfest Northwest, Spokane International Film Festival and Unity in the Community. Tickets are $20. This event is funded in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. KHQ and BHW1 are media sponsors for the celebration.

Say Wow! Celebrating the Best of Spokane

Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox will be hosting a Community Day Showcase on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. which will include FREE performances, tours of the theater and hands-on children’s activities. Scheduled performances are: Blessing and Drum Circle at 9:00 a.m., Floating Crowbar performing Traditional Irish Music at 10:30 a.m., a Big Band Swing concert by Master Class Jazz Orchestra at noon, a performance by Spokane Civic Theater at 1:30 p.m., and Big Red Barn playing Rhythm and Bluegrass at 3:00 p.m. This event is funded in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. KHQ and BHW1 are media sponsors for the celebration. 

From Superman to Sousa: a Sizzling Summer Concert with the Spokane Symphony

Music Director Eckart Preu will conduct the Spokane Symphony in a performance of summer favorites, including light classics, show tunes and patriotic numbers at the outdoor concert venue on the lawn of Northern Quest Resort and Casino on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and $25. Small plates from Northern Quest’s outstanding cuisine are available for $7 and under.
