Chamber Soirees offer musical elegance

The Spokane Symphony’s Chamber Soiree Series is one of its most unique – and most popular. This elegant and unrivaled concert experience routinely sells out and for good reason. Now in its seventh year, the chamber soiree series has gained unparalleled popularity with music lovers of all types.

 

The concerts are presented in non-traditional settings that provide fine chamber music by selected ensembles from the Symphony in charming settings .Three series of concerts are presented at Davenport Hotel’s Marie Antoinette Ballroom’s.  This season, two concerts will be presented in the OldChurch in PostFalls.

 

On Tuesday and Wednesday, March 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m., the Soirees will be held in the Marie Antoinette Ballroom of the Davenport Hotel. On Thursday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m., the program will be presented at the Jacklin Performing Arts Center at the OldChurch in PostFalls.

 

The program includes the Santa Barbara Suite by Bramwell Tovey        featuring Larry Jess, trumpet, Chris Cook, trumpet, Jennifer Scriggins-Brummett, horn,  Kirk Ferguson, trombone, and Leonard Byrne, tuba; Pastorales de Noël  by Jolivet featuring  Earecka Tregenza, harp, Alaina Bercilla, flute, and Luke Bakken, bassoon;     Quintet for Clarinet and String Quartet by Mozart featuring Mateusz Wolski, violin, Amanda Howard, violin, Nick Carper, viola, Helen Byrne, cello, and Dan Cotter, clarinet.

 

Gallery tickets for are available for $20 for the Davenport soirees and $25 for the OldChurch which includes wine or sparkling cider.
